Have An AsaBrew After Your Morning Bath Today.
AsaBrew is born from a Taiwanese slang, A-Sa-Bu-Lu (阿薩布魯), which is itself a loanword from Japanese (あさぶろ) to translate into “morning bath”. In those days, when Taiwan was still an agrarian society, bathing in the morning was not common practice and therefore the term was used to mock something as abnormal or ridiculous. At AsaBrew, we seek to put a positive spin on this notion to break conventions and not shy away from countertrends.
What comes to mind when you think of the word beer? For some, it is associated with bitterness. For others, it could be the flavour of roasted barley. How about for craft beer? I believe for most people in Singapore, it would be the intense hoppy flavour of IPAs and their numerous derivatives. Or perhaps some would think of the use of exotic spices, herbs and fruits to showcase exciting new flavours. In any case, the possibilities are endless, and we believe beer should be whatever you desire it to be. At AsaBrew, we take a whimsical approach to our recipe creation regardless of common expectations.
So, if you are looking for a new take on beer, come have an AsaBrew after your morning bath today. Cheers!
